After you use iPhoto to work with a library created in Aperture, photos that have been rotated using iPhoto may appear blank in the Viewer when you open the library in Aperture again.

The pixel dimensions for some RAW images in your library may be slightly different after you upgrade to Aperture 3.

If you apply a filter such as Sepia or B&W from the viewer’s Photo Filter menu to a book image, it will appear without the filter when viewed under the Loupe.

If Aperture isn’t starting up properly or performing normally, try these basic steps to troubleshoot the situation. Please note that these steps aren’t exhaustive and are not intended to cover any specific issue.

The Spot & Patch and Redeye HUDs do not always show the same values as their respective palettes in the Adjustments Inspector. 

When using the Spot & Patch, Crop, or Redeye adjustments, you may notice that the target and selection overlays do not always appear.

When you create a PDF file of an Aperture book, an extra blank page appears between the cover and and the first page in Aperture's book layout.

When you view your images at less than full size, sharpening adjustments applied to the image may seem less apparent than they really are.

The edges of some images are cut off when you print a book as a PDF file.

In some cases, the end of the text from the IPTC Copyright field is missing when images are exported from Aperture and viewed in another application.
