This document lists the minimum resolution for photos in your books, cards, or calendars that you order through Aperture or iPhoto for Mac or iOS.

You may notice a warning icon appears next to pictures when the resolution may be too low for a quality print at a given size, or next to a text caption when text overruns the border.

When you use Aperture 3 in OS X Yosemite, you might see the message “Open iTunes to populate this list.” This happens when you select iTunes in the Slideshow Music source list. Opening iTunes does not fix the issue.

You can edit your photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod in the Photos app on iOS 8. However, when you import photos you've edited to your Mac using iPhoto, Aperture, or Image Capture, the edits you made aren't imported.
