If you have Aperture 3.3 or later and iPhoto 9.3 or later, you can use Aperture to merge multiple iPhoto libraries together to create a single unified library with all your photos. You can then continue to use the unified library in both iPhoto and Aperture....

Apple just announced an updated Mac Pro with with a processor bump to 3.06GHz Intel Xeon X5675 and an ATI Radeon 5770 or 5870 graphics card. Dual solid-state drives round out the package as well as Firewire and USB 2.0 ports. No USB 3.0 ports are attendance.
The new model includes 801.11n and Bluetooth and will be Mountain Lion compatible....
