If a child clicks on a picture of an elephant, they hear the word elephant and the sound the elephant makes. Its all presented with fun colors and cute graphics, which, according to Soon Ooi, the lead developer at Pixel Hauz, were specially included to keep young minds wanting more.
Little Pocket Friends Touch and Learn is one of those apps for preschoolers that was designed to keep little ones entertained for more than a few minutes. But its more than silly games, explained Ooi, theyre memorizing new words and learning sounds they may have never heard before. Its fun and its teaches, which Ive always believed are two of the best features for an educational app for children.
