MacBook Air (Late 2008): Microsoft Windows hosts may not appear in Shared Disk

After installing DVD or CD Sharing Setup on a Microsoft Windows computer using the Mac OS X Install DVD that came with the MacBook Air (Late 2008), the Windows computer may not appear in the Shared Disk list on the MacBook Air.
