MacBook Air (Late 2008 and Mid 2009) with Solid State Drive: File location message when installing Microsoft Windows XP

After formatting the Boot Camp partition and copying Microsoft Windows XP files from the DVD to the Solid State Drive (SSD) on a MacBook Air (Mid 2009) or MacBook Air (Late 2008) computer, an installation message may appear, indicating the 'asms' file is missing. The installer may be interrupted by either of the following messages: "Unable to locate file 'asms', cannot continue" "The file 'asms' on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 CD is needed"
