Aperture 3: Matching RAW or JPEG files cannot be imported from iPad after initial import

If you capture paired RAW and JPEG photos from a camera to your iPad, and then import only the JPEG (or only the RAW) of each pair into Aperture, it is not possible to subsequently import the matching paired photos into Aperture.
