iMac: Unaccelerated drivers may produce a blank screen

In some situations when you use OS X Lion with certain unaccelerated drivers not made by Apple, a blank screen may appear, the login window may not appear, or other anomalies may occur. Some examples of products that exhibit this issue are AirDisplay, DisplayLink, DisplayPad, or iScreen.
