iTunes 10.5 for Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

You may notice the following symptoms after installing iTunes 10.5 for Windows: iTunes is slow to respond Windows is slow to respond iTunes stops responding when backing up or syncing with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
