Mouse made his great escape on Thursday January 19. The high for the day was -21C. I searched almost every alley in the neighborhood, stopping at each and every garage to shake the treat bag and call his name. I knocked on about 80 doors and handed out flyers. I called out for him about every 10 minutes for 3 nights then gave up. No one had seen him. I decided that since he wasn't used to the outdoors, he curled up under the stairs and went to sleep forever. I needed to know. I taped the iphone and a flashlight to a broom handle, thinking I might see his body. I saw this. He's recovering in hospital and should be coming home tomorrow. |
