The biggest feature of Mountain Lion is full integration with iCloud, as Lion only got bits and pieces that were really holdovers from MobileMe. Mountain Lion gets the entire iCloud infrastructure backed into all of the new and existing features. We already talked about how instrumental iCloud is to the usability of Reminders, Notes, Messages, and Notification Center. iCloud is the engine that makes Mountain Lion go, and well worth the relatively small entry price. The biggest new addition to iCloud on the Mac though, is Documents in the Cloud. |
