With New iPod Touch 5G Anticipated to be Released in October, Demonsys.com Offers 6 Features That Would be Great to See in New Generation iPod

(AppleNews247.Com, September 27, 2012 ) Orlando, Fl -- Buzz has been building for months about the release of the new iPhone, and, with pre-orders already in the millions, people are beginning to ask about the release date for the new iPod Touch 5G.

Apple has said the new iPod will be released sometime in October, but they haven’t set a firm release date, as of yet.

Demonsys.com, says the iPod 4G was somewhat of a disappointment for many Apple fans, and retailers, but the site is looking forward to the release of the 5G, and hoping for six new features to be part of the new iPod.

At the top of the wish-list for Demonsys bloggers, is that the new iPod Touch will have a larger screen. Site bloggers hope for a 4 inch screen, which matches rumors floating around about the size of the new screen. With that being said, Demonsys.com hopes that a larger screen won’t mean diminished battery life.

“Larger screens are great, but they drain the battery life, so if the new iPod is going to have a larger screen that will make it great for watching TV shows and movies, we also hope the battery life is up to the challenge,” said Demonsys.com

When it comes to the processing system of the new iPod Touch, Demonsys hopes to see something more along the lines of the A5 processor found in the iPhone.

“The 4th Generation wasn’t much of an improvement or nothing spectacular came out, so I would love to see Apple make up for its lack of improvement on the 4th Gen by adding a better processor on the 5th Gen,” said Demonsys.com writers.

Demonsys.com is hoping the rumors are true and that they new iPod will have the iOS6 operating system, and the bloggers are also hoping Apple will add SIRI to the new generation of iPod Touch.

When it comes to the exterior design of the new iPod Touch 5G, Demonsys.com reports that they hope to see a lightweight model, like the previous generation, even though the screen size may be larger.

“The larger screen will add a little bit of weight, but as long as it weighs around or even still under the 140g weight of the iPhone than it wouldn’t be difficult to carry around the iPod all the time,” said Demonsys bloggers. “One of the faults of the current iPod is that the back cover can easily scratch. Using a protector sort of destroys the overall appearance and feel of the unit. Apple should change the back cover material to something that won’t easily scratch.”

The camera on the iPod Touch should be upgraded, according to Demonsys, in particular, bloggers are hoping to see an 8 mega pixel camera, as is seen in other similar devices, along with an LED flash.

Despite the fact that Demonsys.com says Apple isn’t known for extended memory slots on its devices, but Demonsys hopes they will include a MicroSD slot.

“8GB is definitely not enough and 64GB would also not be a whole lot especially with an improved camera and a large screen for watching movies,” say Demonsys bloggers.“The apps available for the iPod Touch are already quite heavy on memory requirements, so a MicroSD slot would definitely be useful.”
