	Fake UK Type iPhone Chargers There are several videos describing fake chargers on YouTube but these are mainly the American type. This clip shows how to identify a potential fake UK type without in depth technical knowledge. All of these chargers except the genuine Apple product are potentially dangerous. In all instances the original manufacturer markings have been copied together with the part original manufacturer number type A1299. The markings do vary slightly between versions. At least one of these types has been listed on the EU rapid alert system (RAPEX) and raids have been carried out by Trading Standards.
