Xsan: Finder states "backup items can’t be modified" when moving items to Trash on StorNext volume

Xsan users may see the following alert message in the Finder when dragging files from StorNext volumes to the Trash: "The operation can't be completed because backup items can't be modified." This issue may occur on volumes controlled by StorNext 4.x metadata controllers when the fast reverse path lookup (RPL) feature is disabled on the volume.
