the error that comes up is "We're sorry we are unable to continue with your activation at this time" and this is a simple way on how to fix it. Steps : 1. Download : (WIN) sites.google.com (MAC) sites.google.com Download iPhone 3GS 6.0 firmware - www.felixbruns.de 2. In redsn0w, right click, run as administrator, and go to Extras - Select IPSW, and select the downloaded 6.0 firmware (EVEN IF YOU HAVE 6.0.1 ON YOUR PHONE) 3. go back, press Jailbreak, and let it do the work, determine whether your phone is new bootrom or old bootrom (if you're not sure just hit new bootrom) when it gives you the options to "install cydia" "install ipad baseband" ect. DESELECT INSTALL CYDIA, because then your phone will be tethered, and select "Downgrade from iPad Baseband" complete the DFU mode in redsn0w, and once you're done, the pineapple shoudl show up, the hacking on the phone should start, and after all this. your phone should be able to activate on the regular baseband!
