ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (February 29, 2016) – By the end of 2016, cumulative global installed photovoltaic (PV) installations will surpass 310 gigawatts (GW), compared to just 40 GW at the end of 2010. The five countries accounting for 70 percent of this capacity are China, the United States, Japan, Germany and Italy.
