Black Friday comes but once a year–and in 2023 it falls on November 24. In recent years, however, the deals season has expanded to cover the week leading up to Black Friday, Cyber Monday afterward (that’s November 27 in 2023), and often most of the month of November.
In the weeks leading up to Black Friday–and on Black Friday itself–we expect to see some good deals on a new Apple Watch. Black Friday 2023: Apple’s shopping event
Every year Apple holds shopping event from Black Friday (November 24) to Cyber Monday (November 27). However, since Apple rarely discounts its products, the event consists of gift card offers rather than actual savings.

There aren’t any U.K. savings on the 2nd-gen SE’s official RRP right now (well, other than eBuyer’s 1p discount), partly because it just got a price cut to celebrate the launch of the late 2023 Apple Watches. Apple Watch Series 8
The Apple Watch from last year is still in stock at a variety of retailers, so markdowns are likely to be pretty steep over Black Friday as the remaining inventory is cleared out.

Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Ultra 2 deals
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 came out in September 2023. It has an MSRP of $799/£799.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Series 9 deals
The Series 9 is also new, having launched alongside the Ultra 2 in September. It has an MSRP of $399/£399.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch SE (2022) deals
Apple’s first budget SE smartwatch came out in 2020; this is the second-gen model, which launched in September 2022. It currently has an MSRP of $249/£219. We expect deals to surface over Black Friday.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Ultra (first gen) deals
The original Apple Watch Ultra had an MSRP of $799/£849 at launch, but has since been discontinued. You may be able to find stock at third-party retailers, but look for a big discount.
Black Friday: Latest Apple Watch Series 8 deals
Last year’s Apple Watch Series 8 had an MSRP of $399/£419 when it came out, but it’s since been discontinued. Only buy if you can find a major discount of $100 or more.
