It hasn’t even been a month since the M3 MacBook Pros have been on shelves and we’re already seeing the first significant discounts: Amazon is selling the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro for $1,449 and the 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro for $1,849, a savings of $150 each, and the 16-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro for $2,299, good for $200 off and the best price we’ve seen so far.
The main reason to buy one of these machines is the new M3 chip, which brings a nice speed boost over the prior generation. The entry-level M3 model replaces the aging 13-inch MacBook Pro with a new design and upgraded display. It also gets HDMI and an SD card reader like the higher-end Pro models. And the M3 Pro models now come in Space Black, the first new Pro color in more than a decade.
In our 4.5-star review of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, we praised the new color and chip and concluded that anyone still using an older MacBook Pro “really missing out if you stick with Intel.” So go grab one while the price is better than ever.
